1. Objective
The study of the structure, operation principle, basic properties and parameters of the rectifier diodes in their current-voltage characteristics.
3. Targets and performance of laboratory work
3.1.Issledovat CVC semiconductor rectifier diode.
The study design of direct branches of the diode current-voltage characteristic using Electronics Workbench (EWB) is shown in Figure 1.4.
To do this:
1. Activate the EWB system icon.
2. In the window with the name of Electronics Workbench, working on the field to move the image battery image, variable resistance, diode, earth, voltmeter, ammeter, the nodal points. Symbols of the land and the battery are located on the panel named Sources, symbols of the variable resistor and the nodal points - on the panel named Basic, diode - on the panel named Diodes, voltmeter and ammeter - on the panel named Indicators. The panel named Diodes select the type of the diode. When you double-click the mouse on the diode symbol panel opens with the name Diode Properties. On this panel, select the name of the library (Library). In our example, the library with the name Philips, a right window - diode model in our example BA220. Press the OK button.
3. Includes toggle switch located at the top right of the window.
4. Using a variable resistance included by the voltage divider circuit is set to the desired value voltage diode. To move the resistance of the engine, you must first configure the variable resistance. Double-click on the variable resistance symbol to open the panel called Potentiometer Properties. You can change the amount of resistance to this panel. In the Setting to set the starting position of the engine as a percentage. In the window with the name Key to write the symbol R. Key After setting potentiometer settings press OK.
5. To increase the voltage taken from the divider, press the Shift key and the R key, and to decrease it - click on the button R.
6. The coordinates of the current-voltage characteristics of the lift with a voltmeter and ammeter.
7. Change the forward voltage of the diode within the limits specified in the table. 1.1, fixing the current value of every (0.1 ... 0.05) V.
