Collection of laboratory work on computers and PU.
Tasks:
1) Write an assembler program to configure the channels of the programmable timer VI54 (i8254)
2) To get skills in working with the interrupt controller VN59A
3) It is required to tune channel 0 for transmission from slaves to RAM in block transfer mode. The starting memory address is 2528h.
4) Learn how to work with the keyboard and the screen using assembler tools.
Task setting: the program clears the screen. An asterisk is printed in the center of the screen. Using the arrow keys, you can move this asterisk around the screen, without leaving, however, beyond its limits. At any time on the screen is only one asterisk. Exit the program by pressing the TAB key.
5) With the help of an emulator, study the operation of the processor in a protected mode, in particular, the principles of forming a physical address using segment and page mechanisms.
