Resume

The purpose of this controlled clinical study is to evaluate the effectiveness of therapy isopathic sensorineural hearing loss ototoxic aminoglycosides potentiated.

Control - the original state before isopathic therapy.

To assess the effectiveness of selected series of criteria: Criterion A - the disappearance of subjective ear

noise; criterion B - expanding the range of perceived frequencies (according to the tonal threshold

audiometry (TPA) at least one range of bone conduction and criteria - decline

perception thresholds at 1 kHz or 2 kHz at least 20 dB.

Treatment was carried out in 16 people with chronic severe sensorineural hearing loss ototoxic

degree (grade 4) and deafness. Age - from 19 to 58 years, disease duration - from 18 to 40 years. Potentiated aminoglycosides used in the potency of C3, C6, C12, C30 and C50. Drugs that potency and reception mode selected individually according to the history and the results of electro vegetative resonance test.

According to the criterion A with positive results in 15 patients with criterion b - 13 y,

and the effect of the criteria was in only 3 patients, which the authors attribute to the short duration of treatment. In one case, with the supervision of more than 12 months showed complete recovery of hearing function, confirmed dynamics of the TPA. Treatment was well tolerated.

Conclusions.

Results isopathic therapy in patients with severe chronic aminoglycoside sensorineural

deafness demonstrate the positive impact of aminoglycosides potentiated the function of the auditory analyzer.
