In version 3.4 of the CROSSWORD program, the ability to work
with alphabets of ANY length (any number of characters) of
absolutely any language of the world and the Universe at ANY
size of the program window is implemented.
Naturally, the alphabet must first be created in the form of
an alphabet file with either of the two ways, and then connected
(selected) for use in this session of the program. All this is
done as before.
Now you can create Chinese, Korean or Japanese alphabets with
thousands of hieroglyphs, which means you can create and solve
crosswords in Chinese, Korean or Japanese (or any other) for ANY
size of the program window!
Now when creating or solving a crossword puzzle in any language,
if the number of characters (large, small, or other nonalphabetic
characters) exceeds the window size of program, then at the right
end of the upper line of characters (with three control characters -
SPACEBAR, ENTER, BACKSPACE) additionally appear two triangles to
the left and to the right, by clicking on which with the mouse
(or by pressing, respectively, the arrow keys - left-right on the
keyboard), the required long character strings are shifted left or
right until you get to the symbols you want to click on mouse.
When creating an alphabet file with any number of characters in a
slow way, everything happens exactly as before.
And when creating an alphabet file with any number of characters
in a quick way (with using the keyboard) upon reaching the end of
the line while typing the desired characters from the keyboard,
there is an automatic transition to the beginning of the line (you
don't need to do anything on purpose). To complete the typing of
the desired group of characters (small, large, other nonalphabetic -
numbers, punctuation marks, etc.) press the ENTER key (instead of
pressing the symbol key). To remove incorrectly typed characters
press the BACKSPACE key.
Now states with multithousand hieroglyphic form of the alphabet
can, without doubts, nominate the author of the CROSSWORD program
(project) for national and international (including Nobel) prizes.
