Welcome to Onslaught, the first DLC for Call of Duty®: Ghosts. These are 4 unique maps for multiplayer play, a new weapon - a hybrid of a sniper rifle and an assault rifle - and the first of four parts of the Extinction campaign.

Complementing the great, intense online experience that gamers love, Onslaught adds 4 maps inspired by the Call of Duty® franchise, each with its own unique look and play style.

Fog (Washington, USA): A dark, sinister camp next to a foggy lake, inspired by classic horror films. Fog also keeps a terrible secret ...
BayView (California, USA): Located on the California coast, BayView is a small map for an active playstyle. Beware of shelling from a destroyer in coastal waters.
Containment (Mexico): A small map located along a dry river bed in a ruined Mexican village. In the center of the map is a small bridge with a truck, from which radioactive waste flows.
Ignition (Florida, USA): Based on Scrapyard, the game's favorite map from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Players will fight at an old launch site in Florida.

Also, Onslaught will replenish the arsenal of players with the new Maverick weapon - a hybrid of an assault rifle and a sniper rifle. Equipped with a lightweight wooden stock and an electronic display, the Maverick can be used as an assault rifle or sniper rifle, depending on the needs of the player. In assault rifle mode, it shoots in fully automatic mode and has a fairly high damage. In sniper rifle mode, the Maverick is equipped with a telescopic sight and shoots in semi-automatic mode.

Episode 1: Nightfall is the first of a four-part campaign for Extinction. At a research base somewhere in Alaska, scientists under the mysterious Twilight program are trying to find out about the origin of aliens. When scientists lose control of the process, a small elite squad must take the data and destroy hordes of hostile creatures and defeat an unprecedented giant monster. Episode 1: Nightfall will feature two new alien species and exclusive weapons.
