Solnechnogorsk is a city in Russia, located not far from Moscow. It is located near Lake Senezh, which is actually an ancient reservoir.
The population of Solnechnogorsk is about 60 thousand people. There are several industrial enterprises operating in the city, some of which are economically quite successful.

The busy Moscow-St. Petersburg highway passes through Solnechnogorsk, connecting the two largest cities in Russia.
